    I was surprised by how low the cost of attendance is. Even with the most expensive dorm arrangements I STILL did not pay as much as a lot of these universities. Coming here I do not miss home as much as I thought I would. I think it is a great way to start your college experience.

    When they tell you welcome to the highest of the seven hills in Tallahassee, Florida they mean it. FAMU is LITERALLY on the highest of the seven heels. So be prepared for going down hill and going up hill. For example, B.L Perry leaving a class there to go to the set is no joke. You definitely have your legs in shape.
