Because it's such a small school, the classes are small and the teachers really care and make an effort to get to know you. This is a great school that gives you as much as you put into it, and the small class sizes and caring teachers really make a difference. Class offerings are substancial and help is always available.

It's a good school and they're great with helping students succeed. They offer free resources like tutoring for math or with writing your essays.

Honestly, I was not planning on attending a community college for the first two years of college but I was both surprised and greatly satisfied at the quality of teaching, as well as the variety of classes offered. I also loved the fact that class sizes do not get larger than about forty students, and even in the larger classes professors still make an active effort to get to know each person! The only thing with which I had a problem was the fact that getting appointments with the counselors in kind of hard-so make sure that you plan ahead!

It has a few campuses, which is very convenient. The students are typically pretty nice, but if you go to folsom they can be snobby. They offer night courses which is awesome.
