Being in such a close proximity to New York City definitely has its cultural benefits, mainly exposure to diversity and opportunities one might not get in a small college town. One also learns a lot even in the Bronx Campus, where one is exposed to a culture and lifestyle one might not normally have the opportunity to experience...just remember street smarts when interacting in the neighborhood!!

Fordham is really based on community. It strives for learning and excellence. It's like a college campus but the city is really close.

After reading the reviews, Fordham has become my top choice. It is exciting to see everything that the campus encompasses. I hope that I will be accepted and good luck to all future students like me!

When Fordham admissions representatives use the slogan, New York is my campus, Fordham is my school, they mean it. Because Fordham Rose Hill (my hone) is located 20 minutes outside of Manhattan, a trip to the city is like driving to the local mall. Fordham is dedicated to educating students both inside and outside the classroom, so there are tons of service-learning, research, and internship opportunities out there.

Fordham doesn't seem to be the school that its students thought they were going to attend, but it is the school who's present students could never imagine going to school anywhere else. Fordham is often described by the mantra New York is my campus, Fordham is my schools, but in reality, New York City is our campus, and Fordham is our home.

I went to this school on a college visit and it was absolutely gorgeous; the tour guides were all friendly and the campus is large but feels small. It has a great community feel.

It's a really beautiful campus, in the middle of everything so you can experience the city. Professional atmosphere where students are actually quiet in the library which is pretty refreshing.

Fordham has the best of an open campus in arms length of Manhattan. The liberal arts and jesuit education are incomperable and extremely valuable. Small class sizes makes you feel like a person instead of a number.

Fordham is an academically competitive institution in the heart of New York, with a thorough and challenging core. That being said, there is a campus in the Bronx that allows for a traditional college atmosphere, and a campus at Lincoln Center in Manhattan; a block from Central Park and on the cusp of Hell's Kitchen. While Fordham holds its ground in terms of location and academics, it is expensive both on and off campus and has small class sizes, both of which demand a student with intellect and ambition to succeed.
