Fort Lewis is a tight-knit community of nice people who genuinely care about others. When walking about the campus many people offer smiles and greetings, and open doors as well. The classrooms become families of their own as the students and instructor become more comfortable with each other, making the environment welcoming.

Simply put, if you can't live without nature, you want to go to a liberal arts college, and you don't want to spend a million dollars on a liberal arts education, then you just hit the jackpot! Literally, there are people from all 50 states as well as a bunch of people from other countries, which for me, affirms Fort Lewis as the special place it is.
