Community College is a great way to save money without compromising quality, and Front Range has exceeded all of my expectations. It's better to meet with staff in person, but you can call or even email for specific things. Visit with an adviser right away! If you don't like the first one you meet, you can always visit with someone else in the future. If you choose to attend classes on campus (instead of sticking with online offerings), be mindful that parking is limited here just like every other campus. Public transportation, if at all possible for you, is the way to go!

Take time to wander around campus the first few days to get your bearings, especially the computer lab which you will use a lot. USE THE LIBRARY, it is no joke that it will help you through some rough research/writing classes, and there is no excuse not to use it since it's on campus! If you are in a math class and the teacher offers office hours then don't be embarrassed if you need them, go! I had an amazing math teacher, especially since I've always struggled with math, and the office hours and math help center were irreplaceable.

Definetley take advantage of the small classes and ask as many questions as you need to succeed. Also make sure to use the learning labs that the campus has to offer.

One thing they are terrible at is paperwork. So do any kind of paperwork stuff early. Also register for classes the second it opens up. I stayed awake till 12:00 the day it opened and twenty minutes in there were classes already filled up. Also go on the website to get the best teachers possible. If you are going to use this college to transfer from make sure to pay attention to their standards noy just Front Range's.

Ask questions, don't delay applying for college. This college is relatively easy to get into even if you're off to a late start.
