Am learning a lot
They jam in as much information as possible into your brain in less then 2 years. I hope your not lazy, don't mind missing sleep and love caffeine ^_^ your going to need it.
Am enjoying being here
I have made so many friends and people at this school. Its truly fun especially when Zombies are walking around. Thats right Zombies. There are so many guest speakers that your are allowed to go see, Nickelodeon reps, Blizzard, Sony, people how have worked on the most popular movies and games. They tell you what the industry is looking for and how to get a job in a company. Just be prepared to hear the word networking A LOT.
Bang for the buck
At an average 4 year college you are going to spend about $100,000 or even more for a good college. Its worth it. I just hope you don't make a habit of failing..the first one is free but any time after that is money. Just make sure you stay on top of your finances even if your adviser is not lol.
Tips for prospective students
Im in the Game Art Degree and its no picnic. The workload is one of a professional, your are getting it because you asked to become an professional when you applied. The instructors have no problem helping you out or even your peers. You really learn your trade inside and out. And after you graduate if you feel that you need a bit of a refresher on whats new in the industry you can come back for free (within your degree of course) Mainly, get ready to get to work and find out whats fun to you (in and out of school) and stick to it. And pay attention to everything you have access to, your grades mainly.
Great for these types of students
Full Sail has been known for its different students. Anyone is welcome and you will find others like you or they might just rub off on you. You won't feel alone for too long after starting classes.

Am learning a lot
I currently am enrolled online in the graphic design program and this school has definitely showed me the tools of the trade.
Am enjoying being here
The only hard thing about the school is sometimes getting ahold of some teachers.
Bang for the buck
Definitely worth the cash - they send you a brand new MacBook Pro as well as all of the programs your degree will be needing. And I mean ALL of them.
Tips for prospective students
Make sure you aren't a procrastinator - once a week you are assigned about 15 assignments and you have one week to complete on your own time.
Great for these types of students
Independent studiers, students that are/will be holding full time jobs, students who can't move to Florida.

Will learn a lot
Full Sail may be expensive, but for good reason! I recently went on their Behind the Scenes Tour, and saw that they have the latest of EVERYTHING. You couldn't ask for a more advanced or better equipped school. They sometimes even get the latest tools before professionals in the industry get them!
Will enjoy being here
I checked out several apartments during my visit, and looked around the town as well. I couldn't ask for Full Sail to be in a nicer, more accommodating neighborhood! Despite it's seemingly upscale location, if you look around even a little bit, you'll easily find reasonably priced housing.
Bang for the buck
I'm not gonna lie, Full Sail is expensive, possibly on the verge of being overpriced. However, if you consider the fact that you can get a Bachelor's Degree in two years, and you break their price down into the usual four, their prices are only slightly high than your average out-of-state college.
Tips for prospective students
Full Sail banks on you knowing EXACTLY what you want to do with your life. It's not a place to go if you're only toying with the idea of working in the entertainment industry. Their program is proven to work, very well at that, but you MUST know that it's right for you, and be able to make the huge commitment of time that they demand from you. Don't plan on partying on the weekends, bumming around town, or socializing every other minute of the day. Otherwise, YOU WILL FAIL. You've been warned.
Great for these types of students
Full Sail is FANTASTIC for people who KNOW what they want to do with their lives, and have a passion for some facet of the entertainment industry. They will put you right in the drivers seat, and although it may be a rough and tough ride, on the other side, you'll come out a professional.

Am learning a lot
In order to pass a class, you HAVE to learn and study.
Am enjoying being here
I'm learning so much, I love being a student.
Bang for the buck
It's a heavy load, but it's well worth it. The quality of the eduction is bar none.
Tips for prospective students
Do all the research you can but I'm telling you first hand, if you want a career in performing arts... Full Sail is the school for you!
Great for these types of students
The student that has mastered the art of balancing study time with play time.

The classes are just what I am looking for in the career I want. The teachers worked in the industry, and now teach their students tips and tricks on what the industry is looking for in professional, entry-level, graduates. When you are done with your degree, you also leave with a prepared resume, website, and demo reel to get you in, out, and ready for the industry in less than 2 years with a bachelor's degree in the entertainment field.
Tips for prospective students
Full Sail is a challenge not to taken lightly. If you are committed to do whatever it takes to get a job in this industry, you will max out your capabilities to get the work done, lose sleep, and do your best in every class. You get out what you put in, and the student willing to succeed at all costs can make it into the industry, not just the best student.
Academic Rigor
If you take the regular accelerated programs, you will be at school 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. That doesn't count homework and researching outside school time. You will lose sleep. I get anywhere from 3-7 hours of sleep per day and have gone up to 36 hours before sleeping. And when you graduate, the industry will be just the same. I am aware of this and challenge the schedule on a daily basis, which led me to my current 3.5 GPA.
Dorm Life
Full Sail has no dorms, but has specials and discounts for many of the apartment complex within a 5 mile radius of school. I live 15 minutes away from campus in walking distance, share a furnished apartment with one roommate, and my utilities are included in my rent, making it the cheapest place near campus to live.
Food and Dining
Full Sail provides 4 areas on-campus to provide food and coffee to their students along with vending machines in every other building. There's also a Wendy's, Chick-fil-a, Dunkin Donuts, McDonalds, Firehouse Subs, Crispers, and Chinese food within walking distance for a quick meal. But if you're like me and live cheaply, there's a Cosco, Target, and Wal-Mart for your grocery needs. Granted it is not the healthiest choices, and there's not a whole lot of time to cook a good meal each day, but you do have fast food options.
What to do for fun
First of all. You live in Orlando, a tourist attraction is all over the city. But for nearby sites, there is a comic book shop, card game shop, GameStop, an on-campus game club, and an on-campus library with movies and video games. I unfortunately don't have time for these options because of my commitment to this school. The alternative however is the students are just as geeky as the next student, and will talk about the next movie or video game that is coming out because that is our field of work.
Bang for the buck
Add in the costs of the whole 2 years it takes to receive a degree (tuition, books, living expenses, food, bills, travel expenses, etc), it is cheaper than attending a 4 year college in my opinion. The school is set up to get in, get out, and get a real job in half the time. This also makes the incurred interest on loans less of a burden since you get out of school faster. The drawback of this however is there is little to no time to commit to a part-time job and a full-time student. It is wise to prepare your finances for all your college years before committing to this dedication.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
There is a grade system that is being used at this school called the Global Professional Standard (GPS). This displays to potential employers your attitude and your ability to work professionally. Ways to keep this score high is your timeliness, good behavior during class, participating during guest speaker presentations, and assisting in the community. The higher your score, the better chance to land a job out of school.
Great for these types of students
If your looking for the a way into a career in the entertainment field fast and from the best, and willing to pump out quality work just as well, then this is a great school. Professionals come into this school as guest speakers and teachers so students can learn the tips and tricks within the industry and give an edge to their education. Those who will live and breathe their education will succeed here.
Campus Safety
Security is 24/7 at the campus. Security cameras, parking permits, ID badges, zero weapon policy... even the school's location make this a safe place to work within the property. The only time I don't feel safe is the walk home at night due to the fact there are no dorm rooms on-campus.

Will learn a lot
they jam 4 yrs of college into 2 but its great info in an industry environment that will prepare you for the real world
Will enjoy being here
Its in Florida! Moving from Ohio will be a big step up.
Bang for the buck
its sort of expensive, it is a great program and you get a mac book pro but still seems high. plus no on campus living makes it hard for some to be able to keep up with costs
Tips for prospective students
be ready to work. like said its 4 years of schools in 2 years. people who do the best work their butts off while here. It is important to know what you want to do. it is hard to transfer credits from this school so if you are unsure or on the fence of what you want to major in this school is not for you.
Great for these types of students
hard working and love what program you are going into everyone i have talked to before I made my decision to go here said you get out of it what you put in which is very true work had and you will go far

Full Sail University is a well functioned school for the arts, I enjoy the campus and there is so much to explore. Attending Full Sail is a great opportunity to showcase my skills. I highly recommend this college to anyone interested with the arts.
Tips for prospective students
My tips for prospective students will be on how this school will basically catch your eye and attract your attention for your own skills. If you feel like you have the dream, this would be the perfect school for you to attend on the regular. Full Sail should be the first choice for artists in all perspective.
Academic Rigor
Academic wise, Full Sail provides a well structured program for all students attending this university. As you focus on your major you are able to commit to education at the same time. The professors are willing to help you with anything towards your own degree.
Dorm Life
The dorm life is amazing down at Full Sail, knowing they do not have on campus housing but apartments. Each apartment is very comfortable and close to the school, especially for transportation. Touring those apartments will be a blast for the oncoming students.
Food and Dining
As for food and dining, they have many cafes and restaurants on campus and nearby. Each facility there brings together students on the campus, especially if you are hungry. All of the food and dining are great to see too.
What to do for fun
While you are not working or taking a break, there are many things you are able to do while you attend. For example there are shows you are able to attend while you can hang with your friends as well. Or you can get together and relax as well.

One of the best Music production schools in the country. Industry standard teaching with industry standard equipment. Knowledgeable staff with a well rounded credible background.
Tips for prospective students
First don't wait till the last minute to do an assignment. Get started early so you can ask your questions and understand the material. If you understand the material then working with others will be easier since everyone is on the same page. Also don't be afraid to be yourself. This is an industry where you have to be comfortable working with others. With that said get ready to have your shell broken if your shy.
Academic Rigor
Academically the material is more than satisfactory. Course work is challenging but nothing that can't be accomplished. Faculty and staff are more than willing to help, as well tutors and advisers are always there too. with most students using mac Face-Time, ichat and email communications are only a click away.
Dorm Life
Dorm life is all off campus. I'm actually a online student so I'm always off campus. Great part about being online is you can still vista the actual main campus and visit teachers, check out materials from the library or even use the on campus studio. on campus or online there is no arm but you do get an apartment instead.
Food and Dining
Great local hangouts since most of the surrounding area is owned by the university. Great atmosphere when going to any of the great local hangouts. Pricing does vary of course but depending on your budget you will always find the right place to munch.
What to do for fun
There's zoo much to do. From hanging out in the wifi accessible park to going to the local beaches. there's always something to do at Full Sail. Don't even be surprised to see some industry leaders as they are considered normal visitors to the Full Sail campus. Be ready for lectures, meeting , clubs, and special events that are more than pleasurable.
Bang for the buck
Though the cost of tuition is pricey.. what would expect form the Harvard of media colleges. Full Sail has an extensive reputation and has brought many students forward into the world of music. Guiding there talent and helping many achieve a spot int the industry.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
Many traditions are at full sail. From concerts to red carpet events to enormous video game competitions. Many spectacular events are always going on all year long.
Great for these types of students
Any student who has a passion for music. Any student who has a passion for film. any Student that has a passion for the entertainment industry.
Clubs and Activities
There are many clubs within Full Sail. Fantastic place to make new friends, business partners or to even bounce ideas. Many clubs range depending on what your style and taste is. From Film, to doing, to music production itself. Over 80 clubs are active at Full Sail
Greek Life
As far as my knowledge there at this point hasn't been any Greek life to develop at Full Sail.
Campus Safety
Safety is defiantly one of the biggest things here at Full Sail. The campus has its police security and every student must have a id badge to enter and leave the campus buildings. Logs and camera are found at the school with an extremely low crime rate on the campus making Full Sail a great place to attend.

As an online student, Full Sail is a great school. The curriculum is wonderfully challenging and is exactly what I wanted out of the course. I am a Creative Writing for Entertainment major and I can see this course improving my writing after only a few moths.
Tips for prospective students
Plan accordingly. Full Sail's course load is heavy as it is an accelerated college. You get four years worth of classes in approximately two. Be prepared to work.
Academic Rigor
The course load is heavy but not unbearably so. They have high expectations for their students and push you to meet them. The staff is very professional and pleasant and there are several places to receive all kinds of academic assistance.
Dorm Life
Unknown as I am an online student but I would expect an unusual sense of professionalism to be prominent.
Food and Dining
Unknown as I am an online student but I would expect it to be impressive.
Bang for the buck
I would definitely recommend this school to anyone.
