Even though this is a really good school with really good quality academics, Rate My Professor is your best friend. Every professor knows their stuff and teaches incredibly well, but I've had a few who either barely show up, cram deadlines, or simply aren't engaging to listen to. There are a multitude of different classes for one subject and different teachers teach the same classes, it's all about knowing which ones are worth your sanity.

Apply, and go here anyways. You will have a leg up on your peers, with a cheap but excellent transfer degree and two years of credits under your belt.

Visit the transfer center early in your time there and visit often, they will help ensure you meet your goal, if transfer is indeed your goal. Visit your professors during office hours, they want you to be successful and can become valuable assets as mentors who may provide you with letters of recommendation needed for graduate school or jobs. Get involved in a club, service learning, honors societies, honors programs, sports, or academic success programs. Use your resources - there are many on campus.

AVOID THIS ARROGANT CESSPOOL OF SELF-RIGHTEOUS TWITS. I have been trying to get transcripts for an Engineering program. I paid extra to have it rushed. a month later...nothing. The other colleges have sent theirs weeks ago, Fullerton not only didn't bother sending them they lied when they were questioned about it. What kind of a grown person lies about making a mistake? They felt completely comfortable stealing from me, then lying to my face, then saying it would be another month before they could process a new one. If this was a one time issue I might see the possibility of a mistake, but this is not, this is the 3rd time they have screwed up a transcript order. I have had to talk to them several times just because they can't figure out how to mail out a college document after being paid to do so. Typically transcripts take about 2 weeks maximum, this transcript has NEVER reached the University it was supposed too. The last one when I was in junior college took 2 months! It eventually was mailed but only at the threat of talking to someone in charge and presenting receipts to prove that documents had never been mailed. How can this place even be operating with those kinds of ethics? I recall that it wasn't a stellar college in the first place, no direction for new students, and administration that wasn't only unhelpful but rude and unprofessional. Looks like not much has changed. If they handle their administration this way, just think how they will handle your child's education, or your education. Save your money and your sanity.
