This really depends on the individual and what kind of learning you feel is most valuable. Academically speaking, obviously if you choose to slack off and focus on socializing, you might not do so hot even if your classes are awesome. For the most part, like any other school, there are easy and hard classes. Most of my professors so far have been enjoyable & interesting and the classes have definitely expanded my knowledge about the subject. Great location in D.C. The prep is real, and turned me off initially, but it's all about who you surround yourself with. I find that people have a hard time relaxing.

Georgetown University Law Center is an amazing combination of high quality academics and networking opportunities. Everyday there is something going Alumni cocktail, the book launch of a member of staff, judge, politician etc. There are many activities which target international students where experienced professionals in academia and legal practice share their wisdom to guide our employment pursuits. The international diversity is the number one reason attending this school is the best choice for a global career.

This is a great academic school, giving hands-on education. One of the best things about this school is the various speakers coming in, like Hillary Clinton and Obama, due to the location of the school. This school is not too small, yet not too big (about 17,000 students).

Georgetown is located in a great city with amazing internship and job opportunities. The school is VERY elitist and you will definitely be around a certain type of U.S. student. Overall Georgetown is a good school to attend if you are interested in politics or business but not so much the arts.

The Campus is absolutely beautiful and the staff is always very helpful. I would rate Georgetown University as a 10 out of 10. They do their best to accommodate to their incoming and current students, have a diverse set of very qualified and well-known professors, and a strong curriculum.

From what I have seen from my vast research of Georgetown, I will say that this university is very unique and diverse. For those who love sports, hanging-out, politics, or just love going for a walk on the town, this university is located in an area that has one of everything. There is never a dull moment while being in Washington D.C. with all of the memorials, monuments and capital hill!

Georgetown offers a great education, particularly in Government and International Relations, with incredibly available teachers. The students are multi-faceted overachievers from all over the country and the world, but all seem to share a similar attitude/worldview. If you're preppy, athletic, academically successful and dream of running the world some day, this might be the school for you.
