There's not much to do since it's in the middle of nowhere. On campus, there's Sweetheart Circle and it's nice to just set-up a hammock or picnic blanket. There's also the museum and wildlife center which are both free if you show your student ID as well as the planetarium, music concerts, the RAC, and gaming events.

Party, drink, go to savannah, go to the movies, or hang with friends are all good options. If you’re a guy, it’ll be really hard to get into frat parties if you don’t rush

Georgia Southern has many clubs and extracurricular activities. They have a club fair once a semester where every club sets up a table and an interest sign up sheet.

I spent all of my free time studying as an undergraduate, but there's many opportunities for fun on campus. There's always an event going on, especially in the Fall. There's clubs, honor societies, fraternities and sororities, conferences, colloquies, speaking events, job/school fairs, Career Services mock interviews and resume boot camps, plays and movies on campus, sporting events, and underwater movies nights at the RAC. If you name it, it's there.

I was never really able to get out much because I took on a heavy workload. Anytime I did, it was mostly just hanging out and watching football with friends. However, various organizations do like to offer a lot of options for students and you will constantly be getting emails about sports tournaments, writing contests, mixers with students and faculty, and more. Football games are also a huge part of the culture on campus, and it is a really fun time, even if you do not enjoy football.
