Biggest piece of advice for anyone looking to attend Germanna is this: 1) don't let the system intimidate you and 2) sit down with a counselor to go over all the steps immediately; the office has a tendency to not cover all the aspects the first time round or they'll try to send you to different people first.

If you are graduating high school and don't want to get into debt by going to straight to a four-year university a community college like Germanna is a great alternative. Many students view going to community college as a being a failure. That is totally an incorrect view. There is nothing wrong with going to a community college whether you're a great student in high school or one that struggles with academics. Community colleges are a great way to get an education for less money while haveing a way to transfer to many universities.

If your looking to take a few classes to save money instead of a four year, this is definitely a good option. Just pay attention and do your work, and grades wont be a problem. Also has a good nursing program as well.
