    Take CPD150. This was such an amazing, helpful, and informative class. It helped me navigate the campus, know where to go for financial aid help, how to find my motivation, improved my self-esteem, understand what to expect from college and what was expected of me. This class should be required for all first-year or returning students.

    Do your own research for what you need to graduate. Make sure you ALWAYS ask for a manager when speaking to someone in financial aid unless you're just turning in paperwork. Be your own advocate, because the enrollment center has too high a turnover to really be of much help.

    Be sure to be informed of the transfer opportunities in the enrollment center. One thing i would add is that since this is a pretty big college the enrollment center can get crowded. So remember to come early if you need to get something done such as enrolling for classes or financial aid.

    The main tip that prospective students should do is do your homework. Most of the instructors that I have encountered will base their questions off of the homework. It's helped me review for tests and exams they are almost identical and you will do great.

    Make an effort and don't look at it as a junior college, but as the first step in your professional career. Take advantage of all the tutoring services and resources available. Last but not least enjoy it! College may seem like a drag because everyone is always thinking about finishing but it's not about getting there its about how you arrived.
