The professors are very knowledgeable and make time to help you if you don't understand or just have a question. Each class I take regarding my major just makes me want to learn more! Even the other classes are interesting! You can sign up for a tutor for free if you need more help. They are really nice. For papers of all kinds, you can take it to the writing center for suggestions, help, reference work, for free as well.

Grand Valley is a huge college, but still able to make your experience feel at home and personal. The food options could be better, but an easy trip to Meijer on the 50 can fix that. The faculty and your advisors really do care about you.

Grand Valley offers a rich education in liberal arts, as well as excelling in certain fields, such as nursing, teaching, and engineering. The campus is open and well-kept, and the students and faculty are very friendly. The living areas and dining options both on and off campus are of great quality.

I loved the campus. My experience was amazing and I saw the whole school. I'm only worried about accessibility, it is very far from everything.

Grand Valley State University is my favorite place away from home! The campus is beautiful all year round...even when buried under tons of snow. GVSU has many opportunities for students academically and socially. The classes and work are tough, but I would not have it any other way; I'm a Laker for a Lifetime!
