    For one of the cheapest Michigan state colleges, you get a lot for your money. My sister pays $10,000 more than me to go to Michigan State University, and I can tell from her stories and the stories of others that Grand Valley is by far the best bargain.

    Compared to some of the other big-name schools in MI, Grand Valley is less expensive in terms of tuition and housing. And the financial services the university offers are top-notch: the staff is friendly and will work hard to find a financial plan that fits you and your academic goals.
