Hardin-Simmons is a private university, which always cost more. However having a small number of students in each class, allows for the professors to spend more quality time helping the students be successful. You will actually feel that bond with your professor, and not just feel like a number that you do in a large class room setting. The professors are readily available to help and support your college experience.

For the amount of money that students pay to the school, students could have a little more given back to them in the process. 3 stars for the current situation but the current plans for the construction of additions to the school should make everyday life and opportunites worth while.

Hardin-Simmons has frozen tuition which means, whatever you come in paying, tuition wise, you pay that same amount your entire educational life here at HSU. You don't have to worry about tuition increases and things like that. It is a huge blessing for people who come from families living paycheck by paycheck, or those who rely on financial aid.
