Make sure and read all of Harding's rules in the handbook before attending. Some people are not okay with some of the strict rules or requirements. Bible class is a required course each year, men and women may not be in each others dorms unless during specified times, drinking is not allowed, and chapel is a daily requirement. Make sure you know what you are agreeing to. Although, compared to public colleges, some of these rules may seem strict, I believe the good qualities of this school greatly outweigh the bad.

Harding is a fantastic choice because the professors at Harding are all here because they love teaching students in a christian atmosphere. All the professors are incredibly friendly and helpful no matter what questions you may have they will try their best to help you. Campus is also beautiful! It is also small campus in a small city which in my opinion makes it even better.

Don't buy into the whole ring by spring concept (meaning you get married super early on in college) Everyone around you will probably be engaged by their senior year (or married) but honestly, just remember this is just here. Most places you go that doesn't happen and it isn't everyone. I'm a prime example.

For future students I would say be prepared to: work hard, stay up late, have fun, meet new people, build new relationships, learn lots of material, and grow in your faith with God! Harding is not the easiest university, but with the right mindset, friends, and focus you will have a blast. Always keep your chin up and give your very best!

Be ready to work hard if you come to this university. Classes are not easy, but professors truly do want to help you and see you become a successful contributor to society, one who is looking out for the good of others.Get involved in campus life activities, they are everywhere and they will help you in getting connected to the student body as well as the faculty.
