Read MoreOneonta is a small town, but if you look around, there are things to do. Hartwick itself had about 60 Clubs and Organizations. There are concerts, sports events, and other numerous activities.

However, HCAB (campus activities board) does a good job of having plays, comedians, and movies available to students who chose not to partake in the part scene. There are always sporting events going on which are always fun to attend and support the school.

Read MoreThe city of Oneonta is very small. The transit system only runs Monday through Saturday and starts running at 6:00. This makes it hard if you do not own a car to get to town. There are various activities on campus that are fun to do. On top of that, in the student lounge, there is an air hockey table and pool table free for any of the students to use. Since the college is so small, I've never run into a problem with the student lounge being to crowded. There are many places on campus in which a group of students can go to relax by themselves.

Oneonta is a very small town, but has a lot of history. There are alot of bars for adult students. The greek life and sports teams parties are very fun. If you prefer to stay on campus you can participate in the many clubs Hartwick has to offer.

Outside campus, the cinemas are only a 5-10 minute drive, and the college provides free busing to and from town. Eateries and creamies are abundant, as well as the common fast foods and dunkin doughnuts/starbucks.
