What Students Are Saying

Hendrix is considered a Harvard of the South. It didn't get that nickname because it is an easy school. The professors expect a lot out of you and everyone there was pretty much at the top of their class in high school. Make sure to stay up on all assignments and Do not procrastinate because it will bite you later.
Desire from Sallisaw, OK
The classes are very in-depth and challenging. Several of the lecturers here care very deeply about their fields of study, and wish to lend that knowledge to their students. As a result, however, these professors are immensely popular amongst the students, and it can be difficult to get into their classes.
Scott from Malvern, AR
Hendrix College provides challenging and engaging classrooms that are difficult to find elsewhere. Teachers are experienced and always incorporate class discussions on interesting topics. While the academics and work load is tough at Hendrix, it will prepare students for the difficulties of graduate school.
Lauren from Highland Village, TX
You will be challenged, but it's great because professors are usually so approachable. You can get help when you need it.
