    In Washington state, high school juniors and seniors can take up to 15 credits at their local community college without having to pay for tuition, which is what I am doing. This means I get a lot of bang for my buck. Otherwise tuition is $100 per credit (I think), which seems pretty affordable for me.

    I can't speak for other programs but the Paralegal Program is a great value. It gives you the background knowledge you need and real world experience. Plus, all of the teachers are practicing lawyers and paralegals. That alone makes it worth it.
