First here at Hofstra I didn't learn much that I hadn't already learned. The teachers seemed to be teaching High School material, and it just didn't meet my standards.

Hofstra is a great school with so many majors and opportunities offered to all students. I also like that there are so many clubs and activities that you can join. Plus it is only a train ride away from NYC!

Hofstra is a great college both academically and providing plenty activities for its students. There are so many on-campus activities, clubs, and opportunities to explore Manhattan every week. This is a very expensive school; but it is definitely making college a great experience.

Expensive but worth the money. Internship and job opportunities are high due to being so close to NYC. The campus is nice but the surrounding area isn't that great.

Hofstra has a beautiful campus. The people, both student and staff are extremely helpful and kind. The tuition is very costly.

Hofstra boasts a beautiful campus, a strong business program and great student life! You will have a lot of fun there while also making strong connections in an extensive alumni network- joining Greek life or another club or sport is strongly encouraged as you will probably learn the most from this experience! The school itself is perfectly sized- big enough to meet a lot of people and really get the college experience, but small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed and you still get enough teacher-student attention.

An overpriced college, great for all academic studies. There are many resources but the price tag is way too high.

Communication and Business school have great teachers and classes. The nightlife is fun with the bars and house parties. Meal plan is expensive and is not that great.

Hofstra is an university that makes every student feel welcome and helps them to be able to embrace themselves, whether it's their nationality or who they are. The diversity and friendliness of Hofstra University is what makes it such a great college. It is easy to be able to spread and represent Hofstra P.R.I.D.E (which stands for personal responsibility, respect for self and others, integrity, diversity, and expression).

Hofstra is a private school with a large focus on science or media, it seems. There are plenty of options for housing. They give out scholarships to those who ask for them, so be on the lookout for opportunities because you definitely need a scholarship to pay for this school!
