Classes are so interesting here and the professors really care about the students. Class sizes are small so everybody can participate. No worries about stating your mind or giving your opinion; open discussion is expected.

    Hollins University is a close-knit group of students and faculty. The students are friendly and welcoming and a very open-minded bunch. The campus is also spectacularly beautiful and has hilltops with amazing views!

    MISLEADING MAJORS. I came here and learned that most majors are non bad. Math? The highest offered is Calc. Pre-med? no more like biology major. Law? try a different school. This school is mostly for writing/ English majors. Seriously consider a different school. I am transferring out in the spring

    Hollins has top-notch class schedules, professors, and students. The professors really care about their students' education and will often check in if you are struggling in some way. The community is very tight-knit and accepting of new people.

    Everything is so beautiful and the campus is set apart from Roanoke by large greens and the campus is easily walk-able. There a plethora of different types of students here, mostly artsy it seems. Their museum has a wonderful Andy Warhol exhibit and the library has comfortable lofts to study & read in.
