HCC is a decent school with good teachers. You must apply yourself and work hard if you want to pass. Nothing is achieved through play, it is all hard work.

Since i have been at Housatonic it has been a great experience for me. The instructors at Housatonic are very helpful. They are great at helping you with anything you need and if you need extra help the will help you with tutors or anything you need. I have been here since summer of 2014 i transferred from Suffolk county community college and everything is so much better the tuition fees and the help i get from them as well. The students are also very nice and friendly and the staff are also nice and will help you with anything. the school is very clean and located in the city of Bridgeport. there is a lot of transportation by the school including the train and ferry.

HCC is a place to learn from interesting, fun, and intelligent professors. There are opportunities to become part of honor societies. Students can increase their GPA and save on college during their first two years. Then, transfer to their dream school with scholarship offers based on their good grades; leaving students with less loans to worry about.

The school academically wise is very good. The professors are great and enthusiastic. Campus wise the school is very boring there is no student lounge and the cafeterias are very tiny and have limited options for food that are not even all that appatizing, unless all you eat is fast food.

The school is kept in very well condition; very clean and inviting. It is always kept at a low noise level; no headaches from yelling students. It also has smiling, helpful staff everywhere you go.

I believe that HCC is a great school for those who are looking to bring up their grades to transfer. It is also great for those who cannot necessarily take loads of classes at a time. HCC works at your speed!

A good college to go to for core courses on the cheap. Very helpful in giving ideas on what you want to major in. A very good starting point for adjusting to college life if your coming straight out of high school.
