HBU is the perfect place to attend if you want to feel loved, welcomed, and important. The class sizes are small enough for professors to remember your name.

The campus is beautiful; honestly you forget you're in the middle of Houston. The faculty are knowledgeable and friendly, and genuinely care about their students. The other students I met on campus were outgoing and could not stop saying enough good things about the school. I can't wait to start classes in the fall!

If HBU wasn't private and didn't charge an arm, leg, and soul for attendance, the school would be worth it. The people and culture are pretty nice, I feel I developed academically and professionally, and I've gotten a lot of good out of my time at HBU. BUT I can't help but feel overwhelmed and ripped off because for the price HBU charges, the service, opportunities, and education you get do not match.

If it were up to me, I would not be at this school right now. HBU advertises heavily based on the appeal of a Christian university that cares deeply for students and education, but it doesn't bother holding up the standard it sets for itself. The administration is for-profit minded, even if the students and faculty aren't.

It's a very small campus, but that's the best part about the school. Small classes, you build a relationship with your teacher and classmates. Also has free tutor programs for many courses.

HBU is a beautiful campus, and everyone was really nice at orientation. If you want to choose to pursue your religious beliefs, then this is the school for you. However, after applying here, I did figure out that tuition is very expensive and the school does not provide much financial help.

Expensive tuition but students are helped to obtain scholarships or grants if qualified and I for one is a recipient of this help making it a lot lighter for my parents to shoulder. HBU offers various areas of careers to select from with superior instructors to assist the students succeed in their careers. The principles, values and standards the school stands on are admirable and this is one of the reasons why I chose to start and finish my career here.

HBU is small and therefore lacks in many social life and residence life aspects, but has great professors, a beautiful campus, and generally friendly students. The older buildings are barely functioning, the new building (HRC) is nice but pricey, and the food on campus is below average. I learn a lot in my classes and they are not too hard.

HBU is awesome because I say so. People are so nice some good friends buy you food, they invite you to their dorms and they love you sincerely. If you need help ask just about anyone PROFESSORS CARE, FACULTY&STAFF CARE, AND students CARE sincerely.
