    Take advantage of the short online classes. HCC students are able to take 4, 5, 8 & 16 week courses online. The 5 week courses are only offered in the summer. Online classes are much easier to deal with then, in person courses. Some professors even give you the chance to take test's twice.

    Be prepared for all your classes and don't spend time or waste money on classes that aren't towards your major because every second counts. Make sure to look into all the professors on the list before picking and choosing, some profs are great, but some aren't.
