I have learned more in the past year at Howard than I can honestly put into words. I have learned so much about Architecture my first year that I can confidently draft floor plans and elevations of a structure, and make a decent model of it, whereas at the beginning of the year I had no idea what a drafting board was. I feel as though I am also learning what it truly means to be an adult, and to be independent.

Howard is a great space for different types of people. Network and speak to other students when it comes to picking classes, the right class for you will bring you a lot of motivation. Other than just learning, also try to enjoy your time on campus, you will be surrounded by great people!

Howard has amazing and rich culture. The campus is old and slightly below average, but the students truly do make Howard a more enjoyable experience. The campus is within the heart of D.C. and there's a myriad of things to explore around the city. The professors are generally kind and very knowledgeable about their craft.

When I visited this school in April as incoming senior next year , I noticed the school was a HBCU that was very close not & not too far from my home . I loved the scenery and the attitude of the students as well as staff that was there & would love to find more research for this school and hopefully apply .

Howard University has changed and is continuing to change dramatically. Just from my first year, there has been a lot of problems with administration, financial aid, dorm life, and more. "New Howard" is what students are calling it now because of traditions changing as well. Howard provides false hope for prospectives and then your whole prospective changes once you attend.

Howard seems like a wonderful school to go to. Just like any other school, it has it’s up and downs. It’s been around for a while and I could understand why people would want the school to get renovated and have a better upkeepung instead of keeping the look it’s had since the 1800’s.

Howard University strives on excellence in service, and as of recently it shows. They work to build a very strong sense of community for both the staff and students. It is a school that works to increase diversity across all professional fields, but aiming to keep their students in, not weed students out.
