I have learned more in the past year at Howard than I can honestly put into words. I have learned so much about Architecture my first year that I can confidently draft floor plans and elevations of a structure, and make a decent model of it, whereas at the beginning of the year I had no idea what a drafting board was. I feel as though I am also learning what it truly means to be an adult, and to be independent.

The blessing in disguise that I needed but didn't realize it till it was almost too late. Going to this school is honestly what you make it. If you put your all into it, you'll love it. But if not, then it could be hell on earth.

The perfect place for stars looking to shine. Our stars do not only show up at night. They shine during the good times of our country, contributing to society in a positive way. They also shine during the bad times of our country, standing up for equality and leading our nation towards justice.

Honestly, Howard is an amazing school for anyone trying to discover who they are in terms of their African identity as the learning experience is based around understanding the culture and experiences of one of the most oppressed ethnic groups, world-wide. Its academic reputation to other schools is quite high as it is one of the best HBCUs within the US and due to this very point, Howard students supersede other students in terms of gaining spots at the top universities in the country for the purposes of medical school, law school and grad school. Howard has a very rich historical background which serves as a precursor to the rich and deep culture existent within the school which serves to do two things for students: force them to find their own identity and force them to unite and gain an identity as a product of the mecca of African American culture within the US.
