    Don't skip leg day! During the winter its still easy to get to class and not freeze your butt off since most of the buildings are connected in some way shape or form. Also. make sure you pay attention to deadlines and download the Canvas app. It really helps!

    At IUPUI, there are a million ways to get involved, and you should do so. It is very important to be involved to build up a resume, but also to meet friends. It is also important to go to every class and be friendly with your professors.

    make the most of your time at iupui. when i first started at iupui, it was way more of a communter campus, but it is starting to slowly turn away from that. live in the dorms and join clubs. putting yourself into an organization will make iupui feel a lot smaller and make you feel at home.

    A reality check is bound to happen if you are an incoming freshman, coming from a super competitive high school I thought college would be a breeze, and at about my second week I realized the complete opposite. Be prepared to make college what you make it, college is all about your perception. Get involved, make friends, be the most outgoing person you can become .
