    Understand that it's a *Community* College and not a regular College/University. This may seem obvious, but if you have any issues people are not as willing to help due to lack of funding, resources, and time.

If you are not sure how transferring, scholarships, student loans, and other college activities work, find a teacher and have them guide you. Because of the size of the school, you can develop personal relationships with your instructors easier.
