  • May-19-2015 I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

Attend clubs, go to First Fridays, explore downtown, go to basketball games because of student tickets, and enjoy city life.

There are many clubs and extra activities available, in addition to the benefits of the city. Downtown is always an interesting place, and the Circle Center Mall is not to be missed. Further, the socialites of the world will not have a shortage of festive gatherings on/near campus.

The campus has lots of things to do. Fraternities and sororities are represented on campus . Plenty of intramural sports to play .

It's located in downtown Indianapolis!! There is salsa dancing which is one of my favorite things to do, they teach you how to salsa dance and then you have the remainder of the night to show of your skills!! For you sports fans we have the Colts right here playing in the Lucas Oil Stadium and not to mention Indianapolis' first soccer team, Indy Elevens that player on campus at Carroll Stadium!! We usually have festivals on the green fields right across from campus which is a walk across the street, just last week there was an Irish festival. If you love to eat just move to Indianapolis already because there re so many places to grab a bite!!

Once again, IUPUI is right in downtown indianapolis. There are many things to do downtown, but there are not many things to do on campus. There are certain events that are held on campus in the fall when school starts. There is the White River near campus and there are concerts held there over the summer. There is a mall and movie theater downtown as well as a comedy club and a bunch of restaurants and bars. There are museums and the zoo near by as well.

There are a lot of free events everywhere in Indianapolis and on campus. The hard part is actually going out and discovering them. Word does not get around very well so you have to go out and randomly walk around to find out what there is. They always have something going on at the campus center, so when all else fails go over there.

There are always interesting fairs and a Democracy Plaza. There is a canal walkway nearby. All kinds of sports and clubs as well as a terrific exercise facility at the Natatorium.

Join a club, swing dance, go out on the town, shopping at Circle Center Mail and walking along the canal. We use what we got, and what we got is down town Indianapolis!
