I am getting a top notch education for a fair price, vs. attending an out of state university and paying triple the costs.

The cost to attend IUP is pretty reasonable compared to other college options. However, you will get the education that you pay for here, while enjoying every minute of being involved in campus life! Though you will end up paying more in a year for room & board compared to tuition in itself, you have several different rooms types in many different residence halls to choose from that suite your preferences, and they're well worth the money.

It's affordable. That said, you may have to take out loans if you do not get sufficient financial aid (this happens especially if you live in on-campus housing). My loans have averaged $1000 per semester. Also, the quality of education will depend on the department/major you are in. The Education department and Nursing programs have notable and excellent programs, while some others are very lacking in terms of instructor quality and rigor.
