    Join American Honors at Jackson College or join TRIO. If not for the extra help and respected education, because you should be able to get a good adviser. The advisers at Jackson College have a bad reputation, but the advisers for both American Honors and TRIO have good reputations. I am a part of American Honors and Jackson College and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my helpful and educated advisers.
