    Don't slack your senior year of high school especially. Go for high rank schools and look close to home. Really look at housing options and whether it is worth the extra expense to live on campus.

    The tuition is very expensive so if you are planning to attend this school, apply for grants as early as possible and apply for outside scholarships. If you plan to get a scholarship from JU, then get a good gpa and also send in your sat/act scores too.

    Get involved in as many activities as possible. Get to know your teachers during the first week of school since 95% of the classes are under 30 students. Utilize the Career Development Center and the Student Solutions Center from the beginning of your time at Jacksonville University, both of these departments can truly help you with almost any questions you have during your college experience and assure success.
