My first bit of advice would be to get involved. It is never too early to join something or become a part of something bigger on campus. Secondly, my tip would be to have an open mind and reach out for new things that you wouldn't have before. College is a chance to become who you want to be and you won't be able to do that by staying in your comfort zone.
