Named after Pope John Paul II, John Paul the Great Catholic University is a Roman Catholic academy of fine and performing arts in the San Diego metro area. JPCatholic offers 3-year bachelor’s degree programs in Communications Media, Business, and Humanities and all classes are focused on the university mission of impacting culture for Christ. Throughout their academic careers, students assemble a portfolio of artistic projects while enrolling in core classes in theology and philosophy. As a Catholic school, JPCatholic builds its class schedule around daily mass and the university holds regular Eucharistic adoration, rosary, and retreats.
