You can go to the mall, to a party, or explore the Uptown Charlotte. You could even attend a baseball or football game which is all in walking distance from the campus. You could participate in events on campus and maybe even join a club or two. There is a lot to do and many ways to have fun. You just have to be willing to go find it.

Johnson & Wales offers a variety of clubs and organizations. They even offer movie night, bingo, live bands, etc. JWU is working hard to improve their diversity so that students are more willing to attend this university. With a series of events and attractions, Johnson & Wales is sure to be recognized and applauded for their mighty works. Students now have an opportunity to enjoy college life as well as learn.

There is always something to do at JWU and in Charlotte. They show movies in the Wildcat Den and lecture hall, during finals they have a stress relief fair, there is a gym and exercise room, etc! Uptown Charlotte is just a few minutes walk from the dorms, and is full of clubs, restaurants, a movie theater, bowling alley, and so much more.

We are VERY close to uptown, so theres always something to do whether it be hookah lounges, shopping, art galleries, of sight-seeing. The trolley sytem, that is free, is only a block away from the dorms.

The city is so close going Uptown is always an option! College night is Thursday and it's cool this school doesn't have classes on Friday! Check out Bar Charlotte, Phoenix, the music factory. Or if you have a day explore the cool artsy sections of the city like NoDa and Central.

Depending on who you are depends on what there is to do for fun. There are night clubs, parks, campus actives, and little events they have all around the city.

Johnson and Wales Charlotte is one of the most exciting and fun campuses around! For starters, Johnson and Wales Charlotte really prides itself on providing lots of on campus activities such as: talent shows, hired performers, campus pep rallies, barbecues, sports, field trips, movie nights, and much more for its students. On top of the many activities to do on campus, Johnson and Wales' close proximity to downtown Charlotte offers students many opportunities to enjoy what the city life has to offer.

There's always something to do in Charlotte, whether it's a JWU event hosted by one of the many clubs that JWU has, or just wandering up Trade St to walk around Uptown Charlotte like the Epicenter or the Time Warner Cable Arena.
