They bring in a lot of speakers, comedians, and other entertainment for students. Like many campuses there are plenty of parties to go to, but if you aren't the sort of person who likes to party they have events to keep you entertained. There are outdoor movies and events where you can get free stuff. There is also a lot of shopping around. Main Street has a lot of shops if you're fortunate enough to have extra money. Walmart is within walking distance if you need anything and a bus can take you to Target and Michael's.

Festivals galore in this town and area of New England, it seems like there is always something going on for all tastes. The Saturday of Labor Day weekend is a huge music festival with all genre of music and over 70 bands throughout the town and the day. You may have heard of the legendary Keene Pumpkin Festival, well do to last year's mishaps it is no longer in Keene but the neighboring fairgrounds.

Nightlife in Keene is definitely exciting. With no classes on Fridays (for the most part) everyone can enjoy thirsty Thursday at house parties. And if you're 21, there are several nearby bars that do unbelievable drink deals.

There are tons of sports teams, activities, and clubs on campus. You can walk around town with friends, go to the gym or join a club.

For fun I hang out with my friends. We usually spend time in our dorm rooms. We play board games and watch TV/movies. For fun on my own I watch movies/TV and read.
