Kent State University have a very nice memorial from the 60's where the Kent State Shootings took place during the Vietnam war. They have lighted posts for the fallen students. I love how it is apart of history and not just another college.

It's a great value for the money - good profs and some 282 majors to choose from, In-state tuition cannot be beat and out-of-state tuition payers can get credits if their grades are good. With so many classes and choices, it's hard to imagine that one cannot find something at a great price and with a career center to get you started after college.

Unfortunately there aren't really any great options for saving your money. Do not ever purchase things from the school store unless you're forced to. The food's overpriced and cold medicine is twelve dollars so go off campus for the essentials when possible.
