Categories Comments Campus Safety There is security constantly greeting people and keeping the campus clean and safe. There are emergency posts that will light up if you have an emergency and put you through dispatch.
Bang for the buck It is a affordable college that anyone that really wants to go back to school can make it happen one way or another. It is a good place to start and continue your education to move on to a higher school.
What to do for fun The commons is the best place to go hang out and socialize, there is a ping pong table and pool available. You can also check out board games from the student office. There are events held in the commons that make the college the much more fun, and food is in the same area.
Food and Dining Food on campus varies, because the vending machines have great selection, but for quality food at an affordable price i suggest you visit the Badger Burrow for the famous chicken strips with fries combo, best meal there is there. They also offer wide variety of foods from breakfast, to lunch.
Dorm Life No dorms present.
Academic Rigor Instructors expect you to do your absolute best in class and are critical about your work ethic and being punctual with work. They are preparing you for tougher colleges or academic challenges. They work with you on their office hours or refer you to the LRC where all the tutors are. They are some of the very best tutors i have had!!!
Tips for prospective students It is great for getting all of your general studies out of the way and counselors are really helpful guiding you in what you need to take to get your transfers.
In three sentences Klamath community is a fun little college that focuses on getting you your A.A. degree or job asap. It is a nice little campus that keeps it simple with convenient class times for anyone to attend.

Categories Comments Campus Safety I work full time so most of my classes are evening classes and I have never had a problem with anyone after hours, nor have I ever felt unsafe or threatened in anyway. Very well lit, and well patrolled campus.
Clubs and Activities I work full time so i do not have time to participate in additional clubs.
Bang for the buck The class schedule is very versatile allowing for most anyone to have an opportunity to attend classes.
Food and Dining I have never eaten in the cafeteria.
Tips for prospective students Take it seriously and dedicate yourself to your studies. It is all worth it in the long run.
In three sentences It is a no frills, no fluff type of learning atmosphere. I have learned a lot from some outstanding professors. I believe this will be a fantastic start to my education, and will prepare me to transfer when the times comes.

Categories Comments Campus Safety The safety at this school is excellent. Approximately every 100 feet is a security post. If you feel endangered all you have to do is press a button and it will call a security guard immediately.
Greek Life Unknown
Clubs and Activities Unknown at this time. But there are many different ones to choose from.
Great for these types of students It is a great school for all types of students.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus I've only been here for one term so I can't answer this yet.
Bang for the buck It's definitely worth the cost. The classes are small and personal.
What to do for fun I live over 30 miles from school and don't have time for the extra curricular activities yet but they have mixers and other community activities I look forward to participating in.
Food and Dining I have only had issue with one employee but other than that I would have to say the Badger Cafe is an excellent and affordable place to eat.
Dorm Life It doesn not have a dorm I am aware of.
Academic Rigor This school has excellent programs; such as TRIO SSS that is there whenever a student needs any type of help to succeed.
Tips for prospective students If you have problems, do not become combative with the instructor, get them to help you understand what the problem is and then work on it with tutors and fellow students.
In three sentences Excellent place to further your education. The instructors are very approachable. The programs the school offers are designed to help their students succeed.

Categories Comments What to do for fun For fun many students enjoy the student lounge and recreation areas in building six. This area contains several tables, chairs, couches, and a variety of games such as Pool and Foosball
Food and Dining The college has a nice cafe located in the commons building. The cafe is named Badger Burrow Cafe, after the school's mascot the badger. Klamath Community College also has many vending machines on premises as well as a good variety of refrigerated foods in the bookstore.
Dorm Life Klamath Community College does not have dorms.
Academic Rigor Academic rigor all depends upon the teacher you have in a class. Over all the majority of teachers and classes offer a fair academic rigor.
Tips for prospective students A great tip for prospective students is to always plan ahead. Make sure to plan your classes before a term because they fill up fast and certain classes are only offered during certain terms.
In three sentences On a scale of 1 to ten I would give Klamath Community College a 8. They provide many resources to their students including free counseling, recreation areas, and student forums. The only downfall is that classes fill fast and part time teachers can sometimes be hard to deal with.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students I think that KCC caters to most types of people; full-time, part-time, high school, etc. I started attending KCC when I was still in High School because they offer a High School Transition program; this is a great way for High School students to earn college credit for a less expensive rate!
Tips for prospective students I would recommend meeting with the advisors in student services. They are very knowledgeable and helpful!
Bang for the buck I am happy that I chose to attend a Junior college first. This allows me to receive the same education that I would at a four year university for less cost.
Am enjoying being here I like the campus of KCC. I enjoy that the classes are so small that the instructors know you by name. Also, they are expanding their buildings to accommodate new students. Which is great because the student body grew rapidly.
Am learning a lot I have been attending KCC for a couple of years now and so far I have only had positive experiences. The professors are willing to answer questions and meet with you to help you clear up any confusion. Also, KCC has many tutors available at various times to assist you.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Good place to start for locals.
Tips for prospective students If you live in Klamath Falls and money is tight, this is a good place to start.
Bang for the buck Very expensive for a community college.
Am enjoying being here Town doesn't offer a whole lot, nothing to do outside of school besides going to the local bars. School doesn't offer a big variety of classes.
Am learning a lot Learning depends on how much you study, some teachers are unorganized and need better lesson skills.
