Founded by the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College is a 2-year tribal college in northern Wisconsin. LCOOCC confers degrees and certificates in 17 academic programs dedicated to providing college-level education to Anishinaabe communities. With a mission of advancing the history, language, and culture of the Ojibwa tribe, LCOOCC offers programs in Native American Art, Tribal Management, and Ojibwe Language. In addition to classroom space, LCOOCC oversees a college farm that provides hands-on learning experiences for students in the Agriculture and Natural Resource Management program.
