A great thing about Lewis & Clark is that it is on the outskirts of Portland, the largest city in Oregon. Portland is a really interesting city with amazing restaurants and activities everywhere. A bus runs every hour from the campus to the city that is free for students. The campus itself is covered in trees and nature, with great hiking paths. It is also very close to a national park.

It is incredibly hard to NOT find something to do. With campus being so close to Portland, one quick bus ride away makes it incredibly easy for almost any type of activity. From walks on the waterfront to visiting the highly acclaimed VooDoo Doughnuts, there are so many things to do. The city is not the only place to enjoy your day. There are plenty of sporting events, accapella concerts, games put on by the school, movies, and so much more right on campus.

On campus there is always something happening. There are Improv Shows, Fire-Knife Club Shows, concerts, dances, movie showings, and so much more. Since the campus is in a residential neighborhood, the closest restaurants are a few miles away. There are bus stops by the stores though. Furthermore, there are small movie theatres and other shops that are in Lake Oswego and Burlingame. The Pio Shuttle Bus runs every hour to downtown Portland and it is 100% free. Obviously there are a thousand things to do once you are in the city.

Downtown Portland is 20 minutes from campus, and a free bus leaves the campus every hour.
