Since I am an online only student at the moment I am not sure. But I know I get a lot of event invites from the school for sports, community involvement, etc.

You will be going to school on the south eastern portion of the United States. Anything and everything you want to do is on the roadway.

There are a ton of places for students to go and have fun. The La Haye student union has basketball courts, racquetball courts, indoor soccer fields, and a full gym for the athletic type as well as hang out areas and a food court for everyone. There is also an ice rink right next door for skaters and hockey lovers to enjoy. There is also a year-round Snow Flex where you can ski, snowboard, and tube for free as a student.

Liberty has its own mountain where it has Snowflex which is where you can tube, ski, and snowboard during the months that there isn't snow. During winter and snow it is closed because it becomes too slippery and dangerous. Liberty has indoor soccer courts and basketball courts. It also has an ice skating center and Liberty's Student Activities hosts events throughout the year.

There are many clubs and intramural sports teams. Student activities are offered many times in a semester. We have an ice skating rink, all-year-round skiing/snowbording/tubing, open fields by the dorms for frisbee/soccer/football, and more! The city of Lynchburg also has a lot to offer. There groups on campus that participate in service outreach as well.

Snowflex. This is Liberty's year round snow slope. You can ski, snowboard, and tube all year round. There is also a large fitness center with a rock wall, an ice arena for skating, plenty of sports fields, never ending extracurricular activities and clubs, and brand new library.

I really like ice skating, so I recommend scheduling your classes so you can take advantage of the hour-long free ice skating sessions every day or so. I hear intramural volleyball is a lot of fun. The dollar theater here is great, $2 to see some good movies.
