    If you are an independent learner this is the school for you because you are basically on your own here. My roommate dropped out after her first semester. My friend dropped out during the first semester. Some professors are better than others. Freshmen are stuck with whatever awful professor they're given. Think carefully before you attend Lock Haven. There may be better options.

    When living on campus meet and greet yourself to a lot of other students. It is a small university but the environment is huge. Get to know as much people within the university as possible. The greater the network, the better off you are as a student in Lock Haven.

    Get involved, join a club, do a sport, become part of the university. You can learn by studying and class participation...but you can learn even more by becoming involved in what the university has to offer.
