I was planning on going straight to a four year university right after graduating from high school but life had its way (this time) and I, not to happily, applied to go to LBCC. Now a student I can honestly say this school turned my frown upside down and the teachers are so sweet and helpful. I'm learning a lot more than I expected to and, yes, you get your money's worth and more!!

Affordable for students who did not receive enough financial aid to go straight into four year. Great resources for transfer. Great professors.

If you are having trouble with homework assignments no worries just stop by the success center and they will be glad to help you; no question is a stupid question. While scheduling your classes you might have to travel back and forth from campuses, but you don't have money to pay for gas just hope on the shuttle for free and get to class on time! If you are trying to apply for jobs but don't know how to write a resume drop by the career and transfer center and they will be glad to help.

LBCC is a really great school! Sometimes it's hard to get into classes because so many people are admitted, but there is always a chance you'll get in if you're on the waitlist! There are tons of places on campus that are quiet for studying.

Out of a rate scale of 10 I will give Long Beach city College a 6 because, you have to be one step ahead of all the workers there or you will feel like you are being cheated out of opportunity. I had great experiences with all of my instructors and counselors.

Long Beach City College is a great school to fulfill your general education requirements, and transfer to a four-year university. Every professor that I've taken have been extremely knowledgeable of their subject, and truly want the students to thrive in class. Also, there is a wide variety of night classes available for working students.

Long Beach City College classes are not as easy as one may think. The professors are just as hard as any universities with the amount of work and dedication they put into their students. Even though it's a community college, it should not be treated as inferior to those other universities.

Long Beach City College is one of the top community colleges for transfer in Southern California. They offer so many help options in almost all courses but mainly math, English, and history. Long Beach City College also has many professors who have masters degrees and conduct their classes as professors at a university would.
