Loras is a laptop campus... we get new laptops freshman year and an upgrade junior year. We have the option at graduation to keep them for a low price. It is great because you know all technology is the same and if you experience technical issues, the tech center will take care of it immediately at no charge to you. You really get a lot out of it and it makes it easier on students and professors when uploading files...they all come from the same type of software. Think of how expensive it is to have to buy a new laptop plus all of its equipment, and to wait for it to be fixed if something is takes all of that hassle away and the laptops are nice and brand new.
