It goes without saying that every learning institution has its share of poorly-coordinated, poorly-tempered, or just poor quality instructors. Even though Los Angeles Pierce College is no exception, the amount of knowledgeable, organized, well-mannered, and dedicated professors far outweighs the rare poorfessor; the marine biology program at Pierce College is particularly lauded, and, speaking from personal experience, it is my opinion that Dr. Wells is one of the best professors I have ever had.

The campus is always alive! People are around every hour the campus is open. There are so many study groups and clubs to join, depending on what you are interested in. The academics along with the sport at Pierce college are surprisingly nice for being only a community college.

Read MoreIt's ok, lines for financial aid are long and tedious, getting appointments with councilors requires about one week in advance. If you need help with smaller thing the student service building is pretty helpful. Beware the copy tech room, go to the library if you can for all your printing needs.
Read MoreIt is a much larger campus than LAVC, and some other community colleges. In my experience, the professors there are a tad better than others I have experienced in other community colleges. LOCATION, AMAZING-RIGHT NEXT TO THE METRO.
Read MoreI have enjoyed my time as a student at Pierce College. The Professors are well informed, continuing their own education in some cases, and interested in the success in their students. The counselors are extremely helpful and keep you on point as a student.
Read MoreMy experience at LA Pierce College has thus far fulfilled my needs as I prepare to move forward in my academic career. The professors, opportunities available at the Center of Academic Success, counseling services, staff and academic references available for students (e.g. college library and library database) have all offered me an expansive range of support to strengthen my academic skills. Also, just as important, LA Pierce College has done an outstanding job in ensuring students are protected and feel safe, especially this year where there have been several unfortunate events of gun violence in many college campuses in Western United States.
