Non traditional students are given opportunities to pursue theological education in the distributed learning programs at Luther Seminary. Professionals, Parents of Young Children, Single Parents, Stay at home Parents, Grandparents - people who cannot, for many reasons, uproot from home and move to a seminary campus to attend school full-time - are participating in these distance education programs which accomplish 2/3 of the degree program in online classes, and 1/3 in 2 four-week intensives on the campus in St. Paul. It's a big commitment - 5.5 to 6 years to earn your M.Div., but it works.
