-use to search teachers before committing to signing up for their classes. -write down a to-do lit -take any free time to get homework done, it's better to use that time to get ahead, then relax and fall behind and feel flustered later on. -save notecards that your teachers let you use on tests, you might need that information to put on your next note card for the next test! -just because a teacher is easy, doesn't mean their quality, and juse because a teacher is hard doesn't mean they're terrible.

I attended for 2 years when I was first out of school. I tried attending again 7 years later. They promised me while I was paying off the money from the two years, that I could attend again. I dropped out and lost aid due to a mental breakdown because of a bad medication reaction. They gleefully told me, right after I finished paying off the loan that I in fact "shouldn't go back" because my grades were to low since I was essentially catatonic for a year and a half and during that time I didn't withdrawal from classes since... I was catatonic. Pretty much spent $3000 to have a mental break down that was related to genetics and happenstance with a bad prescription. Now I have no prospects since I had been working for the last 7 years believing that I could make a better life for myself. I know I was wrong now.

If your looking more for one on one and personal involvement with teachers it is not the school for it. The city housing costs could be ranked as MATC Madison being #2 in most expensive with Milwaukee MATC being #1. The city itself is certainly entertaining and diverse people. You will need a GPS system on your phone to find your way around city with most people seen with their phones in hand telling them which way to walk and get to where they are going. Madison is well known for its difficult downtown streets and getting around all the one-way streets. However, should the few years in college be focused on fun and games or studies and learning ?
