Is a wonderful school. The classrooms are small and you get the attention you need. The teachers are wonderful as well.
To find more tips for prospective students, what to do for fun and whether this school is great for a particular type of student read the 64 reviews for Madison Area Technical College

The school systematically discriminates against the mentally ill. It is very expensive. The transfer program is a lie.
Read Moreplease DO NOT go to this school! I took a couple courses as transfer courses and it was super expensive (more online compared to in persons). the teachers I had didnt give a damn about their job and we ( the students ) were more like a hobby to them. I never got ANY feedback on my work, the exams were made of irrelevant questions made to make you fail (like for example I had exams asking" where does x hide her cigs?" really?? who cares) and they say they care but they dont. You can complain and they never respond like they promise.
Read MoreQuantity vs. quality ? I found the school not having very good efficiency with its staff, departments, advisers and overall system itself. The quality was poor with the quantity of students attending.
Read MoreThe teachers seem to be very knowledgeable about their class subjects and generally care about their student's success. The tuition costs are very good for the education and there aren't any crazy hidden fees. The college also has many clubs and opportunities for student involvement.
Read MoreThey have great programs and good professors. Tuition is affordable but wait lists for programs can be long. I have had some issues with the advising services.
Read MoreGood stater school. Not a good place to meet friends, older demographic of returning students. Not a good place to get involved in activities like football or basketball games.
Read MoreMATC offers an inexpensive high-quality education with significant flexibility. You can acquire skills here that you can't get anywhere else. You'll be grateful for the lack of acquired debt that you will see when you go to MATC.
Read MoreThey offer the best program hands down for state residents to earn their first 2 years of their bachelor degree at tech college costs. They have tech college low costs (they are required by the state to hold the same cost as all other tech colleges). They have many class choices. And they have many classes online, offering 2 whole degrees online, either go with liberal arts or sciences. And they offer a complete associate degree for your completion of your first 2 years.
Read MoreThis is a note for Cappex. I left my college prep work to spend 45 minutes to an hour writing responses to all these questions. I was thorough, tried to be eloquent, and VERY happy with what I was contributing. I really NEED a scholarship. But I finished, hit the submit button and am told the server timed out. I can't possibly recreate my thoughts and at this moment am completely discouraged by this glitch. I NEEDED to study. Chose not to, to review my college only to have this happen. I now have to choose to forego the chance at qualifying for this scholarship at this time. Discouraged and disheartened.
