Founded by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, Manhattan College is a Lasallian Catholic school in The Bronx modeled after the philosophy of the patron saint of teachers. Manhattan is home to six schools hosting more than 100 academic programs. For students who wish to experience in a foreign culture, Manhattan sponsors study abroad programs and service projects at Lasallian colleges around the globe. In addition to daily multi-faith prayer services and several masses throughout the week, Manhattan also features Jummah Prayer for Muslim students and provides transportation to area Jewish synagogues.
