When you first come here, don't ask too much about Cornhuskin'. All you'll be told is to just experience it and when you do experience it, you won't be able to forget an unbelievable evening.

Buy food for the weekend, the dinning hall is very crappy on weekends. Try to make friends within the first few weeks of school, and don't feel bad if you don't you'll find a group of friends. Join all the clubs that interest you, because there are a lot of them. Definitely get scholarships, this place isn't cheap unless that gpa is super high. Living on campus is fun not perfect. Participate in traditions they're so much fun but if you don't try to get a t shirt and act like you were there lol.

Traditions are a big thing at Meredith, so get involved or you'Â?ll regret it! There are traditions each year at Meredith and I would do the traditions all over again if I could. Always ask for help when you need it! Professors and staff have office hours posted on their doors. There's no excuses why you're failing the class or you didn't understand the assignment. If something comes up, like an emergency or illness or have a lot of deadlines in the same day, you can request an extension. Trust me they've experience what we're going through and they're not trying to make your life miserable.

Get involved in traditions even if you don't know what's going on--you will not regret it! Always go to your professors' office hours; even if you do not have questions about class material, your professors want to get to know you on a personal level. Go to all of your classes! Perks of a small school: class times are always fun and hands-on, as well as educational!
