like i said unlimited food within the dining halls. they do have a day to day menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. in addition to this there is always, a salad bar, a sandwich bar, a cereal bar, an option of pizza, an option of burgers/garden burgers and fries as well as make your own stir fry stations, all kind of fresh fruit and even waffle makers. believe me when i say you will not go hungry. as previously stated the only difference within michigan tech's meal plans are the amount of dining dollars (vending machine/cafe) and/or guest passes.

The dorm food is pretty terrible. The food you can buy on campus is a slight improvement, but predictably overpriced.

The food isn't too bad. There are always the good and bad days though. One thing that is really neat however is their stir fry/ omelette bars. I really enjoy having this option because sometimes you just want to make your own food.

The food at Tech is decent, but could use more quality fruits and vegetables - there are a lot of meat-and-potato type entrees. A few times a semester though, the dining halls go all out with fancy meals that are delicious and fun.

It's dorm food, essentially. Sometimes they really out-do themselves. Sometimes you'd really rather just have a bowl of cereal. They do have fantastic holiday meals before breaks that are blowout affairs.

Food is better than you would expect, however, dining hall hours are not the greatest. It's a good idea to have some food stocked up in your room as well.

Again, I am not a resident, so I donâ??t eat in the halls often, but I have eaten in them before. Every time I've eaten in the dining halls, the food was very good. I have talked to the residents because they eat there all the time. They say that after a while, because of few choices, the food gets dull and redundant. Thereâ??s a lot of starches served, and not much fruit. I also hear complaints about how some halls aren't always open. In terms of size and seating space, there is plenty of room. McNair and Wadsworth especially have a lot of space. DHH, the smallest dorm, has a very small eating area, but, in my opinion, it has the best food. Based on my own experiences and those of my resident peers, I give the food and dinning a 3 out of 5.

around 8 percent of michigan tech students are greek, myself included (apo -epsilon lambda). there are 8 sororities on campus and around 14 fraternities. this does not include alpha phi omega (the largest service fraternity in the country founded on the boy scouts of america), mu beta psi (the music fraternity) along with a few other academic greek organizations.

Most of the frats are usually suspended for drinking or hazing related issues, the school has been cracking down pretty hard in those areas. Nothing new or unusual here.

Greek life at Tech is sooooo different from any other university. It is definitely not your stereotypical Greek experience. The Greek community is just that: a community. Each organization is unique and they all support each other in order to improve the community and the world.

There are plenty of sororities and fraternities at Tech. The Greek Life students put on different activities for students and fund raisers to help the community and charities. I am not too sure about what else Greek Life offers. I am not a part of it myselfâ?¦yet.

Greek Life Is present just as it is at most other Universities across the United States. The Greeks put their best foot forward to promoting a positive image around the entire Greek system. They do a lot of community service and most all of them have very good GPA's. Everyone has the opportunity to look into greek life at tech because they will often host fun things to do around campus or fun trips somewhere, so that people can learn what they are about and if that Fraternity/Sorority is right for them.

Greek Life seems pretty big on the Michigan Tech campus and also very publicized. Something that someone could easily become a part of if interested!

Greek life is really different than other colleges. A lot of people join Greek life at Tech when they wouldn't have joined at another school, because it is not so stereotypical.
